Possible symptoms include trouble starting urination, weak or interrupted stream, dribbling, nocturia, urgency, frequency and trouble emptying the bladder. Symptom severity does not necessarily track prostate size.
Why self-diagnosis is risky
Similar symptoms can occur with bladder problems, UTIs, prostatitis and prostate cancer. Persistent symptoms deserve evaluation.
